Sure you can do it yourself, but researching on Google is not only extremely time-consuming, but you won’t know when it’s actually reliable or not. Plus, the recent, increasing implementation of AI software makes search results even less reliable since AI apps have been trained with random sources difficult to pinpoint.

“Will it really be tailored to me, or will it just be another generic plan?”

All my consultation and travel planning services start with a call where I will ask you questions about your interests and what you are really looking for in your holiday. This will be the framework my consultation will be based on and once the material with the recommendations and extra tips is submitted, I will be following up to make sure all your questions are answered.

“How do I know this person actually knows Italy inside and out?”

This is a fair question because many travel operators are not Italian, don’t live in Italy, and often have visited the country a few times, if any. This, however, is not my case because I’m Italian, I live in Italy and I explore my country far and wide for both work and leisure. Adding to that, I write about Italy for a living. And I’ve helped hundreds of travelers see it from the inside.

“I’m afraid I’ll lose the fun of planning if I outsource it.”

You will still be involved! I just make sure your research turns into results—and remove the stress.

“What if the person planning my trip doesn’t ‘get’ my style?”

As a travel writer and certified travel designer based in Italy, I specialize in listening first—then curating.

What it does NOT include

• A detailed itinerary

• Booking of accommodations, tours, tickets, etc. I’m not a travel agent so I cannot book your services and activities but I can give you suggestions and explain how to book them yourself.

Cancellation and refund

Payment is to be made upfront. No refund is accepted, but I’m open to working on your itinerary until you are happy with it.

Timing

Depending on the length of the itinerary, I will need 7 to 10 days to prepare it.
