Now maybe you are thinking…

“It’s OK, I’m only hitting the tourist route”

“It’s Europe, I’m sure locals speak English”

Well, actually… not really. Each European country has its own language and locals don’t necessarily speak English unless they need it for work. If you are in a touristy area, your chances of finding English speakers increase but here, too, you might find locals who can’t communicate in languages other than Italian.

On top of that, if you want to travel off the beaten path, finding someone who can assist you in English really is a matter of luck.

Why should you act now?

Whether you are travelling to Italy next year or in six months, the sooner you start learning Italian, the more confident you will be once in Italy.

A language takes time to learn and to settle in your mind, so that you memorise sentences and words you will certainly use while in Italy.
